Moderators cannot open workspace data settings.
Export workspace data
Export anything you may need before deleting content or a workspace. Glean Feed creates the file when you request it; the browser downloads it immediately, and Glean Feed does not keep a copy of the generated export.- Open Settings > Data.
- In Export, open the download menu.
- Choose the complete JSON bundle or one CSV dataset.
- Confirm the file downloaded, then store it according to your organization’s data policy.
Delete one category of content
Owners and admins can remove:- Open Settings > Data and find Delete data.
- Select Delete beside the category.
- Read the consequence shown in the confirmation dialog.
- Type the exact confirmation phrase, such as
DELETE FEEDBACK. - Confirm the deletion and wait until the page reports that the category was deleted.
Delete a workspace
Deleting a workspace is not the same as deleting your personal account. Export the workspace first, and confirm that the export opens before continuing.- Open Settings > Data as the workspace owner.
- Select Delete workspace.
- Type
DELETEexactly. - Confirm Delete workspace.
Delete your account
Account deletion permanently removes your sign-in account. It does not delete any workspace. The deletion control appears on the onboarding screen after you no longer belong to a workspace. Leave workspaces owned by someone else. For every workspace you own, transfer ownership to another team member or delete the workspace first.- Leave the dashboard and open the account deletion control on the onboarding screen.
- Select Delete my account.
- Type your account email to confirm.
- Confirm Delete account.
