Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Glean Feed handles information for workspace administrators, team members, public portal visitors, and people who use the embedded widget.

Last updated: July 6, 2026

Glean Feed is built and operated by MSW Digital LLC for product feedback, public roadmaps, changelogs, and embedded feedback collection. Workspace owners control the portal content and end-user data they collect through their workspace. We provide the software that stores, secures, and processes that information.

Information We Collect

We collect information in a few product-specific ways:

  • Account information, such as name, email address, authentication details, workspace membership, role, and profile settings.
  • Workspace information, such as workspace name, slug, branding, portal settings, custom domains, boards, tags, statuses, integrations, and billing plan.
  • Public portal information, such as end-user name, email address, sign-in state, feedback posts, comments, votes, roadmap interactions, changelog subscriptions, and notification settings.
  • Widget and SDK information, such as workspace identifiers, signed identity data supplied by a customer's site, widget configuration, diagnostics, and technical request metadata.
  • Billing information, such as subscription status, plan, invoices, and customer identifiers. Payment card details are handled by Stripe rather than stored directly by Glean Feed.
  • Technical information, such as IP address, browser and device data, log data, analytics events, masked session replay data, error reports, security events, cookies, and similar data needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
  • Support and communications, such as messages you send us, feedback about Glean Feed, and replies to product or account emails.

How We Use Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve Glean Feed, including feedback boards, roadmap views, changelog publishing, notifications, and embedded widgets.
  • Authenticate users, secure accounts, prevent abuse, investigate suspicious activity, and enforce workspace permissions.
  • Process subscriptions, invoices, usage limits, plan gates, and customer support requests.
  • Send transactional emails such as magic links, invitations, notifications, changelog updates, account messages, and service updates.
  • Customize product surfaces, including workspace branding, portal settings, user preferences, and authenticated end-user experiences.
  • Analyze reliability, performance, usage patterns, and product quality in order to fix bugs and make informed product decisions.
  • Comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Cookies And Similar Technologies

Glean Feed uses cookies and similar storage for authentication, security, preferences, and product operation. Examples include Supabase authentication cookies, PKCE and OAuth security cookies, portal end-user session cookies, sidebar preference storage, and embedded widget session behavior.

When analytics is enabled, PostHog may use cookies or similar storage to measure product usage, associate activity with signed-in users, support masked session replay, and capture client-side errors. We configure analytics to avoid third-party advertising use and to redact sensitive authentication and invite tokens from captured URLs.

Our public marketing site also uses Google Analytics to measure visits and on-page engagement, such as page views, link clicks, and scroll depth. Google Analytics may set its own cookies or similar storage for this measurement. We do not enable Google’s advertising features for this analytics, and it does not run on the signed-in product or portal surfaces.

We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies in Glean Feed. If that changes, we will update this policy and the product experience as needed.

How We Share Information

We share information only where needed to run the service, support customers, or comply with law:

  • With workspace administrators and team members, who can see and manage content, end users, and settings for their workspace according to their roles.
  • With service providers that help us operate Glean Feed, such as Supabase for database and authentication infrastructure, Vercel for hosting, Stripe for billing, Resend for email delivery, PostHog for product analytics and error monitoring, Google Analytics for marketing-site traffic measurement, and Google when a user chooses Google OAuth.
  • With integration providers, if a workspace owner connects or configures an integration.
  • With authorities, courts, or other parties when required by law or when needed to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the service.
  • As part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections for personal information.

We do not sell personal information.

Customer Content And End Users

Feedback posts, votes, comments, roadmap activity, changelog subscriptions, and related end-user records are tied to the workspace where they were submitted. Workspace owners decide what to collect through their public portal and widget, how to configure their portal, and who can administer that workspace.

If you submitted feedback to a customer's Glean Feed portal, that customer may be the best first contact for questions about the content or account data in that workspace.

Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Workspace owners may delete or modify many records from the product. Some records may remain in backups, audit logs, billing records, or security logs for a limited period.

Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, role-based permissions, encrypted connections, signed tokens, and production environment safeguards. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so please use a strong account email provider and keep access to your workspace limited to trusted team members.

Your Choices

  • You can update account and workspace settings from the product where available.
  • You can unsubscribe from eligible product emails using the unsubscribe links included in those messages.
  • If your signed-in account does not own any workspaces and no longer belongs to a workspace, you can delete it from the onboarding screen.
  • You can ask us to help access, correct, export, or delete personal information, subject to verification and legal limits.
  • You can disable or remove certain browser cookies, but required authentication or security cookies may be necessary for Glean Feed to work.

Children

Glean Feed is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Glean Feed, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the service, by email, or by another reasonable method. The updated date above shows when this policy was last revised.
